Pico Bolívar is the highest mountain in Venezuela, located in the Cordillera de Mérida. The standard route departs from the upper station of the Mérida Cable Car at 4,765 m and involves technical sections on mixed terrain.

Acclimatization is essential. Spend at least 2–3 days in Mérida at altitude before attempting the summit.
