And On To New Adventures!

Well, we’ve done it. It took us about 10 days start to finish but we have sold the Avion (it’s going to Japan!!) and the GMC truck and have purchased a new set up!

First, the truck. We found this 2006 Ford F-350 dually about two hours from our current location. Owned by an Air Force mechanic who is moving and couldn’t take it with him. We got a fantastic deal on this well kept vehicle. Best news? It doesn’t require that DEF stuff for the diesel! Win-win!

Next up, purchasing a 5th wheel. We decided on a 5th wheel due to Mark’s height, ease of pulling and hooking up and it would allow more space for comfort. We knew we didn’t want something too big so when we came across this 32.5′ we had to check it out! Located just over an hour away from us in Las Cruces.

2006 NuWa Hitchhiker II LS. Immaculate condition! Previous owners were extremely good about maintenance.

Of course, I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t already have plans to make it our own! The golden oak just has to go, ya know? And while the color palette is fairly neutral it just screams “RV designer”. Blah!

This makeover will be more challenging than usual as we will be living in it while changing things up! 😱. Let’s see how that goes! lol

So here’s to new adventures! Our plans are to take a vacation at Ojo Caliente, then head up to Colorado and from there, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and back to Colorado! I will do my best to keep this blog updated.

See ya down the road!

  1. Congrats on the new rig. You will enjoy the 5th wheel. We just traded again and got a 5th wheel and a F250 super duty Gas pickup.
